Susan Wierzba, silk and watercolor artist, loves painting flowers and landscapes, as you can see from her work. With the vibrant colors natural to the medium, combined with the texture and weave, Sue's paintings are both an exquisite and unique art form. They look wonderful as framed hand-dyed fine art as well as for wearable accessories.

The artist, who creates silk paintings and scarves at her Bloomingsilk studio in York, Maine, has a passion for nature. She captures the essence of hand-painted flowers and landscapes and their breathtaking beauty.

Sue offers workshops and classes throughout the area in silk painting, using the traditional Japanese serti technique as well as the techniques of shibori and batik.
